iPad - Password Reset - Method 1

1. Verify if you have one of these screen

2. If you don't remember the account or bought the phone from someone else. (Go to Step 4) If you remember your account information.(Go to step 5 to Start the Process)

3. Phone is Useless


Hold the Power button till it says Slide to Power Off.

. Swipe you finger on the Slide to Power Off

. Now your device is powered off.

. Now Connect your Device to your Windows or Mac PC.

. Open iTunes.

. Press and Hold the Power button and the Home Button.

. Let go of the Power Button when the black screen lights up then you will get the Connect to iTunes.

1. On the Windows or Mac Computer you will get a message saying, "There is a problem with the device that requires it to be updated or restored" or " The software on device needs to be restored to factory settings or updated" or "iTunes has detected an device in recovery mode. Your must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes".

1. Click on OK on the message box and then click restore in iTunes or just click restore in the message box.
